MSIG Indonesia Wins BIFA 2021 Award

MSIG Indonesia won the BIFA 2021 award for the first time in the general insurance category with total assets of more than IDR3 trillion.

For the first time, MSIG Indonesia won The Best Performance Insurance award at the Bisnis Indonesia Financial Award (BIFA) 2021 in the general insurance category with total assets of more than IDR3trillion. The award was given on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Quoted from an online article published by Bisnis Indonesia, this achievement is based on the brilliant performance shown by MSIG Indonesia until the third quarter of 2021, both in terms of premiums and profits. MSIG Indonesia managed to record a gross premium income of IDR1.05 trillion as of September 2021. This figure increase 16.01% year-on-year (yoy). The growth in premium income was also accompanied by growth in the company's net profit. As of September 2021, MSIG Indonesia pocketed a profit after tax of IDR126.12 billion, an increase of 41,36% yoy.

The company's assets also grew by 7.32% yoy, to IDR4.89 trillion as of September 2021, previously IDR4.56 trillion as of September 2020.

Apart from achieving premiums and profits, MSIG Indonesia also has good financial indicators with a solvency ratio of 304%, a liquidity ratio of 131%, and an investment adequacy ratio of 311%.
