President Director of MSIG Indonesia Wins CEO Award 2026 from Media Asuransi

MSIG Indonesia has once again marked a notable achievement through its leadership, as Mr. Shikato Takeuchi, President Director of MSIG Indonesia for the April 2022 to March 2026 period, was honored with the CEO Award 2026 by Media Asuransi. The award was received on his behalf by Mr. Tomosuke Tsuruoka. This recognition is presented to CEOs of insurance and reinsurance companies who have demonstrated excellence in leading their organizations and delivering strong business performance.

The CEO Award 2026 is the first edition of the program, reflecting Media Asuransi’s commitment to acknowledging industry leaders who have made meaningful contributions to the growth of the insurance sector. 

The award ceremony took place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Hotel Grand Sahid Jaya in Jakarta. On this occasion, Mr. Tomosuke Tsuruoka attended the event in person to accept the award on behalf of the President Director.

The selection process was carried out carefully based on several key criteria. Candidates must have been serving as CEO since at least April 2024 and come from companies that received the Insurance Award 2025 from Media Asuransi. The Insurance Award itself was evaluated by an independent panel of judges from associations under DAI, with a focus on the company’s financial performance throughout 2024.

A total of 28 CEOs from insurance and reinsurance companies were recognized this year. They represent organizations that had previously been awarded titles such as Best Life Insurance 2025, Best General Insurance 2025, Best Reinsurance 2025, Best Sharia Life Insurance 2025, and Best Sharia General Insurance 2025.

This recognition reflects the strength of MSIG Indonesia’s strategic leadership and long-term vision. Looking ahead, the company aims to build on this achievement by continuing to drive innovation, enhance service quality, and contribute positively to the development of Indonesia’s insurance industry.
