MSIG Continues Paliyan Reforestration Project

In October 2016, as a continuous commitment to Paliyan Reforestration Project, there was a ceremony for Strengthening the Collaborative Program concerning Paliyan Wildlife Sanctuary between Government and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. Ltd., held in Kepatihan, Yogyakarta. The event was attended by OJK (Mr. Firdaus Djaelani), Governor Yogyakarta (Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X), Senior Executive Director of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. Ltd. (Mr. Takashi Kuroda), representative from Japan Embassy for Indonesia (Mr. Genki Watanabe), and RHC Singapore, Board of Commissioner, Board of Director and others.

The government gave appreciation for this successful project and wished that it will strengthen the forest condition back to normal as an ecosystem and increasing economically. MS&AD Group gave the commitment to continue the program to keep the sustainable environment with focus on enriching the variety of plants and also to create stable ecosystem with fruit plantation in empty area
