What are differences between these two?

Standard equipment shall mean any equipment in the Motor Vehicle which is provided and attached by the manufacturer and/ or new motor vehicle authorized dealer, e.g. standard tyre and wheel, dashboard, etc (which is provided and attached by the manufacturer). Any loss or damage on standard equipment will be automatically cover as long as directly caused by perils insured.

While, non standard equipment shall mean any equipment in the Motor Vehicle which is not a standard equipment from manufacturer and/ or new motor vehicle authorized dealer, e.g. car telephone, sound system, automatic lock system, alloy wheels, CD charger, etc. Subject to insurer’s approval, non standard equipment can be insured by adding them in your insurance application or through endorsement to your policy by providing detail information such as type, brand, quantity and price of the said non standard equipment you wished to insured. Please be noted that no coverage will be provided for non standard equipments which are not declared in the policy.
